Privacy Policy
Effective August 24, 2026
The short version
We store what you enter, we use it to run the product you entered it into, and that is the end of it. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared with other users, nothing is used to train anything, and there are no advertising trackers here.
What we collect
Your account: an email address and a password. The password is hashed by our authentication provider; we never see it.
What you put into the app: your logged bets, the reasoning you write, the factors you tag, your persona settings, and your conversations with Bet Bot. Alongside those we keep a count of the computing tokens each reply used, which is how we keep spending in check.
If you join the newsletter or the waitlist: your email address and which of the two you asked for.
What we do not collect: no payment details today, because nothing can be purchased. If subscriptions open, payments will be handled by a payment processor, and your card details will go to them directly; we will not see or store card numbers. This policy will be updated before that happens.
What we use it for
To run the product: showing you your own record, generating Bet Bot replies from your own logged history, enforcing rate limits, and emailing you the things you explicitly signed up for. That is the complete list. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to anyone.
Who processes it for us
Your data lives with service providers who host and run the infrastructure, each bound by their own commitments:
Supabase hosts the database, authentication, and file storage. Vercel hosts and serves the site. Anthropic processes chat: when you message Bet Bot, your message, your recent logged bets and your computed stats are sent to Anthropic to generate the reply. Under the API terms we use, Anthropic does not train models on that data.
No other company receives your data. If that list changes, this page changes.
Cookies
One kind: the session cookies that keep you signed in. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no third party trackers. This is also why there is no cookie banner.
How long we keep it, and how you delete it
Everything is kept until you delete it. You can delete a pending bet from its edit page and your whole chat history from the chat page; both are immediate and cannot be undone.
A settled bet cannot be deleted on its own, deliberately: a record you can edit after the result cannot tell you anything. The way to remove settled bets is to delete the whole account.
Deleting the account removes everything: bets, reasoning, persona, conversations, and usage counts. Today that is a manual process, and it works: email support@orbitspicks.com from the address on your account and we will delete it. When a deletion button ships in the app, this page will say so.
To leave the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any email, which works without an account.
Your rights
Ask us at support@orbitspicks.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to the settled bet rule above, which we apply to everyone equally. Depending on where you live you may have specific statutory rights on top of this; we honour requests regardless of which statute they arrive under.
Age
This site is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and if we learn we hold any, we will delete it.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy, and the effective date above always tells you which version you are reading. Material changes get called out on the site before they take effect. Questions go to support@orbitspicks.com.
